Title: Dream
Genre: Modern Ballet
Date: 12 November 2012
Venue: K. Stanislavski Russian Drama Theatre of Yerevan
First experimental modern ballet in Armenia with sand animation on the background screen. The premiere of the ballet "Dream" took place in the Stanislavski Russian Drama Theatre.
The ballet "Dream", staged by Jacqueline Sarkhoshyan, composed by the president of Armenian Association of Reproductive Medicine, obstetrician-gynecologist Eduard Hambartsoumian was a part of the charity campaign "I'm coming, mom."
One-act ballet tells the story of a young artist who, in her search of the ideal, does not appreciate what she already has. A high level of professionalism of the ballet group of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Spendiaryan and powerful music composed by dr. Eduard Hambartsoumian made you think that the medicine, perhaps, is also kind of art.
The beautiful music and the dance of artists became even more magnificent due to the sand animation of Artem Nerses, invited from Moscow. It was really exiting when a beautiful woman who is about to become a mother appeared on the stage screen out of the sand.
Many famous doctors from Armenia, France, Russia and Unites States were invited to the concert.
The ballet had a great success in public and is intended to enter in the repertoire of different stages permanently.
